Now as all you friends of mine out there know, I don't go running around quoting scripture...but today I read something from my favorite cowboy preacher, James Scott, where he quoted Romans 15:13.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

I wanted to get that verse out to you ASAP today to encourage you in the hope we have in Christ Jesus. The human resurrected historical Jesus who's alive today, and coming again soon. I'll see him within 50 years either way you work the math and probabilities. I can guarantee you that.

Let's not worry about our looks, worry about money, or worry about our kids. Paul says he learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, that he could do all things in Christ Jesus.

I write because I can. This freedom is such a privilege really. Humbling too, because I struggle with low self-esteem.

That's why I'm selling my t-shirts, and when I feel like being playing guitar, then I do the best I can and follow through to the end. I put this picture on this post because you see that lattice stuff on the back fence? I am proud that I got that done yesterday. I followed through, even though it's on there with zip-ties. I don't have to be pissed at that dog for jumping out at midnight, and I can feel good about getting it done even though it's not perfect. Lily was so intimidated by it she's running the other way.

I like and respect Rush Limbaugh, and I got his sense of humor, it resonates with me. His optimism, and his love and belief in the good part of humanity, was infectious. It's why so many people listened to him. Either because he made them laugh, or he offered them hope. He promoted himself, but don't we have to. I know nobody else is going to do it, unless I'm either paying for them to do it. My sister is the only one who I know would probably do it for free. Ha ha.

I have to get to work.
