Most likely AI is going to be a huge pain in the ass for everyone, clustering our day with junk phone calls, and advertisements and the like. That's how it will start. That's how it is for me on a daily basis. So I can't imaging how it will somehow get better. Stuff in this world of tech advances at a huge pace, exponentially from year to year. Take NVIDIA as an example as a company. They use their chips in all these AI farms that are churning through data, answering college kids questions, and tracing your genealogy.

What are Christians like myself going to do the day AI software breaks into your phone and begins to work on you and manipulate you. Are you going to notice it? So as a Christian should you plan ahead for the day that could happen, by putting safeguards in place in your habits, to protect yourself and your family?

I happen to have a serious mistrust of the large tech companies. Apple, who I love and trust more than any other large tech company, still gets a good bit of caution from me. I likes learning to develop mobile apps for iOS, and back in the day I was making some money doing that. I believe Apple has done a great job of trying to make software work for people. Your data is kept safe, and they do a great job of that in my opinion. I don't think any of these companies want to enslave their customers or do them harm.

AI is a tool, and like any tool or weapon, it's not inherently evil or able to act on its own. We can always unplug it.

I'm saddened about what happened to Charlie Kirk. Remember to pray for his family, and everyone involved.
