There is no single reason why Americans are having fewer children than ever. Some people are having a hard time finding a spouse, others are having children out of wedlock, and therefore fewer children than those within a married household. The LGBTQ+ movement gets a lot of press, however, much of that is just click-bait that does not reflect average American values. Only a small percentage of people out there are struggling with their sexuality or gender. Not surprisingly, most young adults looking to find their soul-mate and settle down have no problem doing that.

It's not rocket science, but having children in a monogamous traditional household is becoming a challenge for people in this digital age.

Somewhere in Alaska, a big eagle is screaming "Drill baby drill, let's populate America with homegrown kids".
